Getting Started with Arts for Learning
All Arts for Learning Units and Residencies may be purchased alone or in combination for the greatest impact. Typically, one school chooses a single unit/residency per grade level although some have opted for two per grade level. Often, schools will implement two or more units/residencies at a time.
 Careful planning, well in advance of implementation, is key to teacher confidence and the overall effectiveness of the program with students. District-wide implementation is preferred. Pricing varies depending on the number of units and/or residencies and classrooms involved.
Professional development for teachers typically requires 3-4 hours of training per Unit, with additional preparation as needed. Each Residency requires 1-2 hours of planning with the teaching artist(s).
